Role Responsibilities

Summary: As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess patients and create, implement, and adjust treatment plans tailored to individual needs and physician recommendations. You will oversee and guide all therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring effective treatment programs that facilitate a return to community activities. You will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues.

Key Duties:
  • Conduct evaluations for assigned patients and set appropriate treatment objectives.
  • Collaborate with other clinical and therapeutic services and utilize available community resources.
  • Formulate comprehensive treatment goals to enhance patient outcomes and support reintegration into community life.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for certification pending professional experience.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
