About the Position

Lane County Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic child and adolescent psychiatrist to join its community outpatient clinic. This is an ideal position for a clinician interested in serving vulnerable patients through the public mental health system while achieving a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform psychiatric assessments, consultations, and follow-up appointments for clients in our Child and Adolescent Program
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Integrated care opportunities with affiliated primary care clinics may be available

About the Division

Behavioral Health Services is under the umbrella of the FQHC and provides an integrated, holistic, multi-disciplinary team approach to individuals with moderate to severe mental and emotional difficulties. We demonstrate through our actions a respect for our clients, a belief in their ability to achieve recovery, and an appreciation for diversity and individual differences.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an approved school of medicine with an MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an approved residency program in psychiatry by time of appointment
  • Board certification as a Psychiatrist, or the ability to become board certified within 24 months
