Position Overview:

As the Senior Vice President of Security Operations, you will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing our Special Access Programs (SAPs). This pivotal role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in security operations, program management, and personnel oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive SAP management framework that encompasses all security activities within the organization.
  • Oversee personnel security administration, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate security measures for all SAP proposal submissions and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage IT security protocols, ensuring adherence to government standards and effective facility management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Contractor Program Security Officers (CPSOs) and Facility Security Officers (FSOs) to ensure robust oversight of SAP programs.
  • Establish and maintain accredited corporate facilities and IT systems to support SAP operations.
  • Develop and execute corporate training programs to enhance the security knowledge of our cleared workforce.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Department of Defense SAP Central Office, facilitating annual reviews and compliance inspections.
  • Manage project budgets and strategically plan resource allocation to support security initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary security programs, including Collateral, SCI, CAP, and SAP.
  • At least 10 years of experience in SAP security management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Exceptional management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Possession of a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and prior SAP access.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in senior leadership roles within the Department of Defense or equivalent civilian organizations.
