Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Patrol Officer to join our team at Signal of Northern Virginia. As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for conducting roving vehicle and foot patrols to monitor for damage, criminal activity, and other malicious activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting roving vehicle and foot patrols to monitor for damage, criminal activity, and other malicious activity.
  • Monitoring the property for suspicious activity, including unauthorized vehicles, trespassers, and other potential security breaches.
  • Checking all doors in assigned buildings to ensure they are locked and alarms are set.
  • Conducting security assessments and reporting any necessary lighting issues, non-operational lights, and other potential security risks.
  • Writing clear and accurate reports to document all observations during the patrol.
  • Performing additional duties as required by the site Post Orders.

Requirements:

  • Complete all appropriate online and physical training modules.
  • Successfully pass a drug test and background check.
  • Possess no criminal convictions and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate good typing skills, as all reporting is done online.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently.
  • Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of Signal personnel, clients, and the public in a direct, timely, and professional manner.
