Nursing Unit Supervisor

Job Summary:
As a Nursing Unit Supervisor at American Senior Communities, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and compassion to our residents. Your leadership skills and nursing expertise will enable you to coordinate resident care, develop and distribute written nursing assignments, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resident care and non-resident care by developing and distributing written nursing assignments for each unit employee.
- Describe care plan goals and approaches to direct care staff to ensure consistent implementation.
- Monitor delivery of care and services throughout the shift to ensure needs are met and tasks are completed.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers, and staff.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Two years of nursing experience providing direct care in long-term care, acute care, restorative, or geriatric nursing settings.
- One year of supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
- Current active state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Current CPR Certification.
