Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Area Supervisor to join our team at Ross Stores, Inc. As an Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific area of the store, including supervising associates, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train associates to ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the stockroom and sales floor
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of merchandise, including receiving, stocking, and pricing
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with store leadership to achieve business objectives and goals

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
