Calibration Technician

About the Role:

The Calibration Technician will be responsible for setting up machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. You will monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications, then perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

This position reports to the Final Test Supervisor and will be located onsite in Bellevue, Washington with Flexible start time between 5:30 AM and 8 AM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret calibration results and evaluate sensor performance with oversight.
  • Recognize and report problems with quality, processes, equipment or materials to Calibration Lead, Supervisor or Operations Manager
  • Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing best practices
Requirements:
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of related work experience (Troubleshooting)
  • Basic knowledge of vital instruments and tools
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail, and ability to perform precise procedures consistently.
