Your Role and Responsibilities:

We are in search of a proficient MacBook Engineer with a strong background in managing macOS devices through Microsoft Intune and JAMF Pro. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the effective and secure deployment, configuration, and oversight of MacBook devices within our organization. This position requires collaboration with IT teams, providing technical assistance, and staying abreast of industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

MacBook Oversight:
  • Deploy, configure, and sustain MacBook devices throughout the organization.
  • Ensure macOS devices are consistently updated with the latest operating system and software patches.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software challenges on MacBook devices.

Microsoft Intune Administration:
  • Implement and oversee Microsoft Intune for macOS devices to enforce security protocols, software distribution, and remote management.
  • Create and maintain device profiles, compliance policies, and conditional access regulations.

JAMF Pro Management:
  • Administer the JAMF Pro platform for macOS device management, including policy formulation, package distribution, and inventory oversight.
  • Develop and sustain automated workflows and scripts utilizing JAMF Pro's scripting capabilities.

Security and Compliance:
  • Enforce security best practices for macOS devices, including encryption, firewall settings, and application whitelisting.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry regulations.

Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain documentation related to MacBook management processes and procedures.
  • Educate end-users and IT personnel on macOS device utilization and best practices.

Vendor and Software Coordination:
  • Collaborate with vendors to assess and procure hardware and software solutions for macOS devices.
  • Manage software licenses and subscriptions related to macOS applications.

Stay Updated:
  • Remain informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to macOS device management, security, and productivity tools.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting MacBook devices within an enterprise setting.
  • Strong proficiency in macOS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and scripting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Intune and its application to macOS device management.
  • Proficiency in administering JAMF Pro for macOS device management.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for macOS devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Certifications in macOS, Microsoft Intune, and JAMF are advantageous.
