Compensation Range: $50,000 - $71,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in costing initiatives related to new product development and cost audits, including bills of materials and routing.
  • Support the annual internal review of inventory standard costs.
  • Collect, analyze, and input vendor pricing for master data management.
  • Engage in various general accounting tasks within the Cost Accounting department.
  • Examples of general accounting tasks include account reconciliations, month-end closing activities, aiding in the internal audit process, cost allocation, and contributing to the enhancement of inventory systems.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP in all accounting work and deliverables.
  • Assist in ensuring that financial reports and disclosures meet Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate accounting processes and support company objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to develop and implement best practices for improving processes and accuracy.
  • Provide assistance on ad-hoc requests and special projects.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (strongly preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Preferred related experience or training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CPA license or intention to pursue a CPA license is preferred.
