The Registered Nurse plays a pivotal role as a leader within the healthcare team at Novant Health, fostering a genuine and personalized connection with patients and their support systems. This position carries the responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and delivery of care in alignment with established policies and procedures. Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory. If your RN license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more without licensure in another state during that period, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: A minimum of one to two years of relevant experience in oncology services is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: A current RN license in the applicable state is required. ACLS certification is preferred.
