Job Title: Field Service Technician Treating

USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician Treating to join our team. As a Field Service Technician Treating, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our natural gas compression equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on natural gas treating units, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance activities, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Accurately gather and report data on unit operations, providing critical insights to inform business decisions.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and escalate issues as necessary, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a positive reputation.
  • Work closely with the Lead Service Technician and Area Service Manager to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and best practices.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in gas treating or a related field, with a strong understanding of natural gas compression equipment and processes.
  • Technical or trade school certification or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • High degree of mechanical ability, with experience reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including on-call weekends, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
