Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Coordinator to join our team at Mercy Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the MRI department, ensuring that all procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scheduling of MRI procedures and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the MRI department.
  • Supervise and train MRI technologists and other staff members as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of MRI procedures and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or radiologic sciences.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • ARRT MRI registration or ARMRIT certification required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Working Conditions

The MRI Coordinator will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and will be required to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy equipment, and work in a confined space. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
