Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a skilled Psychological Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health department, you will be responsible for administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments under the supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist.
Key Responsibilities- Administer psychological assessments and testing, predominantly in the outpatient setting.
- Document patient information according to hospital policy.
- Maintain professional development and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Participate in the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.
- Perform other responsibilities as required.
- 2 years of experience in a work-related field setting or administration and scoring of neuropsychological and/or psychological tests along with a Bachelor's degree.
- OR 1 year of experience with a Master's degree. This experience can include experience gained as part of a graduate training program.
- Experience in psychological assessment in a pediatric outpatient and/or inpatient setting.
- Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited school.
- Experience in psychological assessment in a medical setting.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited school.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
- Proficiency with designated assessment measures across cognitive domains.
- Accuracy with administration and scoring of assessment measures.
- Well-written behavioral observations.
- Timeliness with documentation.
- Personal organization and time management.
- Human relations and teamwork.
- Personal adaptability and motivation.
- Listening.
