About the Role
We are seeking a talented sales leader who is very familiar with the construction sales cycle. The successful candidate must have well-established relationships within architectural, specifier, facilities management, distribution, and contractor communities.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for managing and developing a sales force of independent and company reps to achieve revenue and profit goals within the East region of the United States. The RSM will implement short- and long-term sales strategies to achieve company targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Recommend products and/or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction
- Exceed established sales quotas and business objectives
- Build relationships with sales representatives and customers
- Analyze sales and market trends to develop regional strategy
- CRM Management and coaching for Independent Rep Firms
- Represent the company at regional and national Industry events
- Achieve customer satisfaction and quality standards
- Coordinate orders with internal team to ensure accurate on-time delivery
Requirements
- Proven leadership skills
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
- Familiarity with specification process and the Architectural/Specifier community
- Prior experience in the Audio/Visual, System Integrators, Low Voltage Industries a plus
- Exceptional selling skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Possess a valid driver license and provide own vehicle for transportation in region; vehicle insurance must be current and in compliance with state regulations
