As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide essential mental health services to children, families, and adults, including evaluations, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver crisis intervention services during scheduled work hours, ensuring the well-being and safety of clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with OMH standards, utilizing electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination providers, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure best practices and continuous quality improvement.
- Attend agency-mandated trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Provide telehealth services as needed, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
- LMHC or limited permit required.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a behavioral health setting, with clinic experience preferred.
- Prior experience diagnosing using the DSM V and implementing behavioral/therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
- Valid and clean NYS Driver's License required.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
