Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Babich & Assoc. as a MEP Director. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and a proven track record in managing complex MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Lead and manage MEP projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
    • Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet project goals.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems for MEP projects.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and standards.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and plumbing engineers.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
    • Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Client Relations
    • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project updates.
    • Address client concerns and provide solutions to meet their needs.
    • Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation to clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing MEP projects.
  • Proven experience in single-family, multifamily, and/or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and installation.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, project management tools).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
