About the Role

SKIDATA USA is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our Support Center team. As a key member of our Service Management Team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our SKIDATA installations across North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Act as the primary point of contact for incident and problem management, providing timely and effective solutions to our customers, field service technicians, engineers, dealers, and integration partners.
  • System Analysis: Conduct independent system analysis to identify areas for improvement and deliver input to enhance our systems.
  • Problem Prevention: Identify potential problems to prevent incidents on SKIDATA and integrated third-party products.
  • Issue Resolution: Reproduce and resolve issues to achieve high-quality change requests towards our quality assurance team.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support and installations as needed.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Create and provide technical documentation, training documents, and conduct technical trainings to ensure knowledge transfer to colleagues, subsidiaries, and partners.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum B.S. degree or equivalent technical degree in hardware and/or software.
  • Experience: Ideally several years of work experience in a related field.
  • Technical Competence: Profound knowledge of IT and software architectures, operation systems, databases, and SQL queries.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, diagnostic skills, adaptability, and high flexibility.
