Rivian is a company that's on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. As a Systems Process Engineer, you'll be part of a team that's constantly challenging what's possible and seeking new solutions to old problems.

Job Summary

This role is primarily located in the office, with 2 days a week remote working offered. You'll report to the Systems Engineering Process Manager and be responsible for shaping how we do systems engineering at Rivian.

Responsibilities
  1. Ownership of systems engineering initiatives - end to end ownership of feature process and test process projects.
  2. Product ownership of change management processes - be the point of contact along with optimizing flows and balancing stakeholder needs.
  3. Define and drive new workstreams based on conversations with stakeholders.

You'll be using first principles to look for areas of optimization, designing and implementing process improvements with buy-in from stakeholders, and bringing a holistic systems engineering approach to ensure decomposition and coverage are forefront.

Additionally, you'll be helping drive adoption in our processes through training and workshops, developing or managing integrations and automations across our toolset, and developing best practices and documentation along with training users on any changes.

As a Systems Process Engineer, you'll be a key player in shaping the future of systems engineering at Rivian.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a Master's preferred. You'll also need 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering and Product Development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once.

You'll be a highly organized and autonomous individual who can lead initiatives end to end with demonstrative measurable results. You'll also need to be able to zoom out and look at the bigger picture when building solutions and integrations.

Experience driving best practices and developing documentation, as well as experience with scripting and APIs, will be a plus.
