Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

Join Turion Space as a Lead Electrical Engineer and play a vital role in leading and managing electrical engineering projects. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components, ensuring designs meet mission requirements and industry standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and managing project assignments to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring electrical engineering projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into spacecraft and satellite platforms, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical, thermal, and software systems.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems, conducting performance and reliability testing to validate system functionality and compliance with specifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems, troubleshooting problems and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role, preferably in designing and developing electrical systems for aerospace or high-tech industries.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, control systems, and electrical interfaces, with proficiency in engineering tools and software for design and simulation.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers, with strong project management skills and experience overseeing complex engineering projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
