Role Summary:
The Bakery Packaging Specialist is responsible for preparing bakery items in accordance with daily production requirements. This includes operating baking machinery, adhering to recipes and instructions, and ensuring that all products are wrapped, labeled, and stored in compliance with company standards. You will also maintain food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and inventory management while ensuring the equipment is well-maintained and sanitized.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Efficiently package, label, and organize bakery products.
  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and engage them in conversation.
  • Provide detailed information about our bakery offerings.
  • Accurately process guest orders in a timely manner.
  • Notify management of low inventory supplies.
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and communicate issues to the management team.
  • Prepare the market area for service, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Proactively suggest items to guests based on their interests.
  • Maintain cleanliness across all areas of the market.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the management team.
  • Complete all assigned tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with team members.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Previous experience in food preparation is preferred.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods, up to 5 hours.
