We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jack Link's Protein Snacks. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair equipment defects, including electrical and mechanical issues
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventative measures
- Collaborate with management and suppliers to resolve maintenance issues and improve operations
- Assist with inventory control and maintain a safe and organized work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical certification preferred
- 1-5 years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and facility maintenance; industrial mechanical experience a plus
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with team members
- Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and with teams; project-oriented, multi-tasking ability, and attention to detail required
The work environment is a plant/office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. Travel may be required.
