About the Role

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will play a vital role in providing individual, partner, family, and group therapy to improve the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans to address a range of mental health symptoms and functional impairments.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify goals and develop strategies for achieving them.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and staff meetings to ensure compliance with mental health clinic statutes.
  • Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist (LP), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of trauma-informed therapies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
