Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide essential educational services to students in grades K-8. This role requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in special education, and the ideal candidate will be part of a supportive and inclusive educational team.

Position Details:
  • Location: Onsite position
  • Caseload: Specific student numbers and details will be discussed during the interview process
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid state teaching certification/license in Special Education
  • Experience working with students with special needs, particularly in urban settings, is preferred
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students
  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to facilitate academic and social success
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to foster a positive learning environment
  • Modify teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learning needs
  • Evaluate student progress and adapt instructional methods as necessary
