Job Summary

Clarvida - Idaho is seeking a skilled Youth Crisis Center Peer Support Specialist/ Safety Monitor to join our team. As a member of our integrated treatment team, you will provide support to youth experiencing a mental health crisis by sharing your lived experience to promote recovery and resiliency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat, and stabilize behavioral health needs of individuals
  • Maintain the safety and security of the center by conducting client and visitor check-ins and discharge
  • Communicate with staff on shift and provide assistance by connecting callers to the appropriate staff
Requirements
  • Peer support certificate issued by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
  • Ability to obtain Optum Idaho Youth Peer Support Endorsement
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting with ID DHW
