Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate claims forms, policies, endorsements, and carrier instructions to determine coverage and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather official reports as needed, and inspect physical damage or write estimates for damages based on a conducted inspection.
- Set loss reserves and prepare detailed reports for clients and regulatory agencies, providing clear and concise information on claim status and resolution.
- Manage claim settlements by adhering to carrier instructions and obtaining necessary information, ensuring timely and fair resolution for all parties involved.
- Maintain an expected caseload efficiently, utilizing technology and automation tools to streamline claim handling and improve productivity.
- Perform virtual roof inspections and other duties as required, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Hold an active Property Adjuster License; multi-state licenses preferred.
- Prior experience handling property claims is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including claims management software and other relevant tools.
