Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Scranton Rehab Hospital. As a Patient Care Associate, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, supporting medical staff, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with patients and families, and adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements:
\
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course, and PA state certification as a CNA. Experience as a Nursing Assistant is preferred, but not required. We offer a competitive salary of $32,500 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience. Working Conditions:
\
This position involves frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting throughout the shift. You must be able to transport yourself throughout the facility, including satellite units, frequently while pushing a wheelchair. Occasional exposure to blood and body substances is possible, and exposure to needle sticks may occur.
