As a premier establishment, MEDC: Tribal One is seeking a dedicated Hotel Night Auditor to enhance our guest experience and ensure smooth operations during the overnight shift. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable while meeting team and brand objectives.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks for the department.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures related to personnel, security, cash handling, guest relations, and safety.
- Maintain a visible presence and be readily available to assist guests at all times.
- Proactively offer assistance and answer inquiries throughout the hotel.
- Act as the night manager on duty during overnight hours.
- Follow hotel credit policies and procedures, including credit card authorizations and cash payments.
- Verify the accuracy of allowances, corrections, and miscellaneous vouchers.
- Balance all credit card transactions and prepare deposits.
- Ensure accuracy of in-house and closed accounts, validating rates and posting room charges.
- Execute all steps in the property management night audit system to close the current business day and prepare for the next.
- Address guest complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and documenting all requests or issues for resolution.
- Organize and complete all shift paperwork and reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; Associate's degree or higher is a plus.
- Minimum of one year of hotel auditing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and excellent mathematical skills.
- Strong reading, writing, and communication abilities.
- Professional interaction with other departments and external contacts.
- Able to manage a heavy workload and multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Availability to work overnight shifts and weekends.
- Compliance with drug-free workplace policies.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening hours as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to maintain balance on various surfaces.
- Must possess good hearing and vision capabilities.
