Job Description

As a Product Engineer at GE Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, impacting the quality of your own work and the work of others on the team. You will execute standard operational and technical tasks, often subject to instructions and work routines, with some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete tasks and duties based on changing work situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing engineering tasks that do not require a 4-year degree, primarily tactical responsibilities
  • Broadening knowledge of your technical discipline to execute policy and strategy
  • Support roles with specialized technical fields of knowledge, acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
  • Basic understanding of key business drivers, using this understanding to accomplish your work
  • Good understanding of how your team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
Requirements

For roles outside of the USA, this role requires basic experience in manufacturing and manufacturing engineering, with a knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience. For roles in the USA, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in the Job Family Group(s)/Function(s), is required.
