Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Readiness Specialist to join our team at GE Aerospace. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the F404 assembly area is set up and prepared to support future program volume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the set up of the F404 production assembly area, implementing lean principles to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute project schedules, manage expenses, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Improve material flow and presentation, manage daily hardware issues, and develop long-term planning strategies.
  • Represent the customer internally for project-specific issues and ensure safe, compliant, and successful execution of all project obligations.
  • Coordinate and perform administrative activities, including developing project budgets, tracking operation activities, and managing equipment deliveries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good understanding of key business drivers and ability to contribute to the area's success.
