The Clinical Office Assistant will provide administrative support to the Intake Manager and clinical teams, ensuring the smooth operation of patient services. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Responsibilities- Process and schedule patient services in a timely manner
- Participate in activities related to the referral and intake process
- Receive and document patient information to initiate patient visits
- Perform computer data entry for designated clinicians
- Provide timely staffing of clinicians, including nursing and rehabilitation services
- Coordinate with Home Care Representatives for patients requiring home visits
- Identify and resolve staffing situations, discussing with the Intake Manager as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Use of MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, FAX, calculator, and copier
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Familiarity with medical terminology
