Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Health Advocates Network. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for conducting nursing assessments, obtaining and recording individuals' health information and vital signs, and administering medications and nursing procedures as prescribed. You will also prepare individuals for and/or assist with examinations and treatments, and provide health teaching, counseling, and education to individuals, families, and other groups.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nursing assessments and obtain, record, and update individuals' health information and vital signs.
  • Administer medications and nursing procedures to individuals as prescribed.
  • Prepare individuals for and/or assist with examinations and treatments.
  • Provide health teaching, counseling, and education to individuals, families, and other groups.
  • Implement infection control protocols and procedures and provide related consultation and instruction to staff.
  • Maintain and update charts, records, and other documentation, consistent with agency, State, and federal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
