Overview of the RoleThis position is available at Quality Chevrolet NJ, a leading dealership in Old Bridge, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all warranty claims for the dealership.
Estimated SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the JobWe are seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warranty policies and procedures for major manufacturers, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and submit all warranty claims to the manufacturer according to their specific requirements and guidelines
- Verify and document all warranty repairs and ensure they meet the manufacturer's standards
- Communicate with the Service department to gather all necessary documentation and information for warranty claims
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all warranty claims and related paperwork
- Follow up with manufacturers as needed to resolve any issues or rejections of warranty claims
- Keep up-to-date with manufacturer's policies and procedures regarding warranty coverage and reimbursement
- Work with the Finance department to ensure timely payment and proper documentation for warranty reimbursements
- Assist in the monthly warranty reconciliation process and report on warranty trends and performance
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns regarding warranty coverage for customers
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, some college or vocational training in Automotive or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Warranty Administrator or in an administrative role in the Automotive industry
- Knowledge of warranty policies and procedures for major manufacturers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with dealership management systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
