As a Pharmacy Technician at Providence St. Patrick Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients, while also maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in filling physician orders for patient medications under their supervision.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams to ensure accurate medication dispensing and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medications and pharmacy activities.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
Requirements:
- Montana Pharmacy Technician License or Temporary Practice Permit upon hire.
- 1 year of experience in pharmacy practice or customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records.
