Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Operate pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, manage inventory, and maintain patient records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending and reaching.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software.
