Role Summary:
DTI is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Engineer to propel our rapidly expanding, high-tech enterprise. This role is pivotal in identifying prospective clients and markets for DTI's innovative technologies, transforming them into lucrative contracts. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to thrive in a progressive, fast-paced technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage potential clients and applications for DTI's novel technologies.
• Formulate and implement marketing and sales strategies for targeted technologies and products.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment.
• Advise on investment strategies for new product development initiatives.
• Spearhead customer outreach efforts, representing DTI at industry events and conferences.
• Oversee the evaluation of RFPs/RFQs and manage proposal submissions.
• Articulate DTI's capabilities through technical documentation and presentations.
• Travel may be required, including international assignments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics, complemented by an advanced management or business degree (e.g., MBA).
• Experience with U.S. Federal Government/DoD acquisition or Program Management.
• Strong business development acumen and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication.
• Ability to apply advanced analytical skills to complex marketing challenges.
• Minimum of five years of relevant business experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
• Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, and disability insurance; 401k plan; tuition reimbursement; paid holidays; sick leave; and fifteen vacation days starting from the first year.
