Advanced Anesthesia Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
* Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and diagnostic procedures.
* Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history, physical examination, and risk evaluation.
* Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
* Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period, adjusting anesthesia to ensure patient comfort and safety.
* Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and manage any complications that arise.
* Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal anesthesia care and ensure a smooth perioperative experience.
* Document all anesthesia-related procedures and patient responses accurately and comprehensively.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain knowledge of anesthesia practices and advancements.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
* Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
* Valid Texas state RN license and CRNA license.
* Proven experience as a CRNA or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong clinical skills and proficiency in administering a range of anesthetic agents and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
