Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled pediatric anesthesiologist to join our team at Covenant Medical Center. As a pediatric anesthesiologist with NorthStar Anesthesia, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, including general pediatric, neonatal, orthopedic, urologic, ENT, neurosurgery, and dental procedures. You will also have the chance to perform approximately 10% of adult cases.

Cases and Responsibilities:

  • General pediatric cases, including surgeries and procedures
  • Neonatal cases, including surgeries and procedures
  • Orthopedic cases, including surgeries and procedures
  • Urologic cases, including surgeries and procedures
  • ENT cases, including surgeries and procedures
  • Neurosurgery cases, including surgeries and procedures
  • Dental cases, including surgeries and procedures
  • Approximately 10% of adult cases

Covenant Children's Hospital is the only dedicated free-standing children's hospital in the region, serving a broad trauma and referral catchment area that includes west Texas and eastern New Mexico.
