About the Role

Pinnacle Professional Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and implementing the maintenance department activities for production and yard operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Act as the Chairman of the Employee Safety Committee and a member of the Food Safety/HACCP Team and the Crisis Management Team.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with Sales and Operations to develop and implement new or improved products and processes.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of critical equipment parts to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Act as the purchasing function for equipment and facility maintenance.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess experience with PLCs, HMI, Conveyors, wastewater treatment/management, and the ability to troubleshoot PLCs and equipment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers and manufacturers, maintenance support functions, information technology contractors, and all company functions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related experience.
  • Experience: 15 to 20 years' experience in the food industry, with supervisory background and hands-on leadership.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and management skills, ability to travel on a limited basis, and a commitment to professional and technical knowledge development.
