We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Accounting Coordinator to join our team in New York City. This is a hybrid schedule position, working 2 days in-office and 3 days remotely.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of legal billing work experience, including account analysis functions, and be proficient in Aderant, Elite, or 3E software.
Key Responsibilities- Handles multiple complex billing and client analysis projects
- Reviews outstanding balance reports and proactively addresses trouble spots
- Prepares bills and internal forms, including backup documentation
- Implements Client Accounting procedures, processes, and goals
- Provides excellent customer service and support to clients, attorneys, and support staff
- Develops and maintains strong work relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Communicates effectively and escalates issues as needed
- Identifies and communicates training and coaching needs to supervisors
- Trains and mentors Client Accounting Assistants and Coordinators
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date files for each partner and client
- Stays current with Client Accounting procedures and processes
- Knowledge of Aderant, Elite, or 3E software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work schedule as needed
Skadden Arps Slate Meagher and Flom LLP offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 - $120,000, comprehensive health care, savings plan/401(k), and generous paid time off. We also offer in-classroom, remote, and on-demand learning and professional development opportunities, as well as robust well-being classes and programs.
