We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Lifeguard to join our team at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests while utilizing the pool facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor guest activity in the pool area to prevent accidents and ensure safe use of the facilities.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations consistently, providing clear instructions and guidance to guests as needed.
- Respond to emergency situations, providing first aid and coordinating rescue efforts as trained and authorized.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of pool facilities and equipment, adhering to sustainability guidelines and practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- American Red Cross Lifeguard License is mandatory.
- Previous lifeguard experience is preferred, but not required.
This role requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching. The work area may involve exposure to chemicals such as chlorine and other water purification chemicals.
