Atrium Health seeks a dedicated and accomplished Academic Faculty Member to join our team. As a key member of our academic community, you will be responsible for maintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development and pursuit of scholarly activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and Student Learning
- Teach and facilitate student learning in online or face-to-face settings, including classrooms, clinics, labs, or fieldwork environments.
- Program Development
- Develop and build degree programs that incorporate coherent courses of study, allowing students to progressively build upon and integrate their knowledge and skills.
- Curriculum Development and Assessment
- Create and develop curriculum, courses, and assessments to ensure student success and academic excellence.
- Service and Community Engagement
- Contribute to the improvement of the College community through service to the College and broader community.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a master's degree in Biology or a related field with 18 graduate hours in the discipline. A PhD in Biological Sciences is preferred. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 3 years of full-time instructional experience.
