Job Summary:
The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals seeking treatment for depression and anxiety disorders. This dynamic role requires a strong customer service focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support and guidance to patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient intake.
- Administer TMS treatments according to physician protocols and ensure accurate documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with certified TMS psychiatrists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage patient charts, track insurance authorizations, and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting, preferably in a front desk or patient care role.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
