Job Overview

Position Summary

As an Automotive Maintenance Specialist at M.C. LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of vehicles through comprehensive preventive maintenance services. Your expertise will not only enhance vehicle longevity but also ensure customer satisfaction through direct engagement and professional recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete all necessary training modules and on-the-job training within the designated timeframe.
  • Arrive punctually for shifts, adhering to the required uniform standards, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate footwear.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace by utilizing safety equipment and following established safety protocols.
  • Welcome all customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Participate in team meetings, including regular safety briefings.

Upper Bay Responsibilities

  • Assist customers by guiding their vehicles into and out of the service bay.
  • Ensure proper protective measures are taken to prevent damage to customer vehicles.
  • Assess and communicate the initial oil levels by checking the dipstick.
  • Identify and confirm the correct oil filter specifications.
  • Check tire pressure and adjust to the recommended levels.
  • Inspect and replenish essential fluids such as battery, power steering, and windshield washer fluid.
  • Administer oil changes, starting the vehicle to check oil pressure and confirming with the customer.
  • Fulfill additional service requests made by customers.
  • Conduct quality inspections in both upper and lower bay areas.

Lower Bay Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections of the vehicle's undercarriage.
  • Drain old oil, replace the oil filter, and ensure all components are clean and functional.
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters as required.
  • Lubricate fittings and check gearbox levels.
  • Report findings from undercarriage inspections to the upper bay team.
  • Monitor the vehicle post-service to ensure no leaks are present.
  • Conduct quality checks in the lower bay area.
