Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Engineer to join our team at COLSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing avionics systems for a variety of aircraft and spacecraft.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop avionics systems, including electrical and software components
  • Analyze and interpret technical data, including blueprints and schematics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion and quality
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in design software, including CAD and simulation tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with avionics systems design and development
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering or aerospace engineering

Working Conditions:


Work is performed in a general office environment, with occasional travel to client sites. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.


Field work is required on occasion, where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25lbs) may be required as needed.
