Role Summary

Under the guidance of the clinical manager, the ophthalmic technician plays a crucial role in assisting physicians during eye examinations. Responsibilities encompass conducting patient workups, performing various vision assessments, gathering medical information, managing patient flow, scribing, and aiding doctors in multiple procedures. *Willingness to travel to different clinic locations may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting and organizing medical records and patient data
  • Measuring ocular parameters, both anatomical and functional
  • Administering or preparing necessary medications
  • Providing patients with eye care and contact lens guidance
  • Cleaning and maintaining ophthalmic equipment
  • Supporting physicians in basic procedures

Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid and active driver's license
