Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our campus facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of various systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of campus facilities.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and electrical devices and appliances.
  • Assist in managing the Building Management System (BMS) and operate motor vehicles and other campus-related vehicles and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to prioritize and complete work assignments and follow a work schedule.
  • Supervise student workers as needed and assist in other maintenance tasks on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and building maintenance equipment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb in overhead structures, and work in confined spaces.
