Care Center Professional Job Description

The Care Center Professional is the primary point of contact for individuals seeking state-sponsored mental health, developmental disability, or substance abuse services. This role requires a strong commitment to the RHD values and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take incoming calls from community members and assess their needs and eligibility for services.
  • Connect callers with mental health professionals, including Social Workers and Psychiatrists, within their assigned area.
  • Record and document accurate caller information into electronic systems in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a high-volume call center.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately enter data into electronic systems, databases, and external websites.
  • Fluency in English at a natural level.
  • Ability to manage multiple phone lines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness preferred.
Physical Requirements:
