Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN OS to join our team at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing, calibrating, and administering radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing various nuclear medicine procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Gamma Camera Imaging equipment, computers, and other isotope-sensitive equipment to obtain visual representations or measurements of isotope concentrations in specific body areas or organs.
  • Provide care and service to a diverse patient population, including critically ill, pediatric, and geriatric patients, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of their functional and developmental age.
  • Collaborate with the Nuclear Medicine Physician to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of patient procedures and radioactive isotope usage.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Florida State License Nuclear Medicine required.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
