Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing, calibrating, and administering radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing various nuclear medicine procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Gamma Camera Imaging equipment, computers, and other isotope-sensitive equipment to obtain visual representations or measurements of isotope concentrations in specific body areas or organs.
  • Prepare and calibrate radioactive isotopes for patient procedures, ensuring accurate and safe administration.
  • Collaborate with Nuclear Medicine Physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, demonstrating an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served.
  • Support the hospital's strategic plan and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) goals.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Florida State License in Nuclear Medicine required.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
