Job OverviewPosition: Manufacturing Electrical Technician
Openwork, LLC is in search of a proficient Manufacturing Electrical Technician to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in the upkeep and repair of electrical and mechanical systems within our facilities. Flexibility in shift availability is essential to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, evaluate, and rectify defective components or wiring as required.
  • Employ a variety of electrical testing tools and equipment, including power drills, grinders, and soldering devices.
  • Effectively manage material handling equipment.
  • Assess tasks, devise strategies, and ensure repairs are conducted efficiently and safely, minimizing production disruptions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, and circuit breakers.
  • Reconstruct, test, and calibrate equipment to guarantee safe and effective operation.
  • Install electrical conduits, fittings, switches, and fixtures.
  • Interpret and draft circuit diagrams and specifications.
  • Conduct mechanical repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including components like bearings and clutches.
  • Utilize knowledge of electrical principles and applications in task execution.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of relevant industrial experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a 2-year associate degree from a technical college is preferred.
  • Completion of vocational courses in mathematics, blueprint reading, and mechanical drawing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of hydraulic systems, advanced electrical circuitry, and proficiency in PLC systems.
